take a moment to realize you have never seen your face in person, just reflections and pictures
some scientists agree that if you saw a clone of yourself, you wouldn’t recognise it as you, because our idea of what we look like is so different from what we actually look like

money is so stupid and unnessecary we’re meat creatures on a rock floating in space and out entire lives are dominated by little bits of paper
There is so much flawed logic in this, the attempt at humor completely falls flat.

you ever see someone attractive but they’re such a stereotypical type of attractive that it’s actually boring
YES! I’m literally not attracted to that type anymore. So fucking boring…

This machine allows anyone to work for minimum wage for as long as they like. Turning the crank on the side releases one penny every 4.97 seconds, for a total of $7.25 per hour. This corresponds to minimum wage for a person in New York. This piece is brilliant on multiple levels, particularly as social commentary. Without a doubt, most people who started operating the machine for fun would quickly grow disheartened and stop when realizing just how little they’re earning by turning this mindless crank. A person would then conceivably realize that this is what nearly two million people in the United States do every day…at much harder jobs than turning a crank. This turns the piece into a simple, yet effective argument for raising the minimum wage.
As an artistic piece, it is quite clever, but I would HARDLY call it an “effective argument” for raising the minimum wage. Scientifically speaking, that shit don’t need ta be razed!

Legalizing gay marriage
Hello lovely people,
Several of you have asked me to explain how I can be both a Christian and in favor of legalizing gay marriage.
I purposefully try to avoid talking about politics on this blog. But it’s a fair question, and I really appreciate how respectfully all of you asked it. So I’ll do my best to make sense.
It really helps if you understand that my political opinions come from a libertarian perspective.
That’s pretty cool. I’m an Objectivist, but not one of those bitter “Randian” kinds; there’s a big difference :D My views align very closely with libertarians, so I am not about to make enemies out of them. And I also respect anyone who is FOR legalizing gay marriage, no matter how they reach that viewpoint.

^^^^HAHAHAHAHAHA! I’m picturing it now
Why do we call it truth or dare when we all know it’s really “who do you like” or “awkward sexual task”
